The Art Gallery of Calgary presents "Proto-Feminist and Feminist Art in Calgary 1970-Present," a lecture presented by Mary-Beth Laviolette. A veteran arts journalist, writer and curator, Mary-Beth Laviolette is the author/co-author of two books about contemporary Alberta art and has a special interest in the creative energies of art made by women.
